  • Each employee (including contractors) is held accountable for ensuring that those employees, equipment, facilities and resources within his or her area of responsibility are managed in order to comply with this policy and to minimise environmental risk.
  • Throughout all phases of their activities, Flinders Mines personnel and contractors give proper consideration to the care of the flora, fauna, air, land and water and conserve important populations of flora and fauna that may be affected by our activities.
  • We assess the potential environmental effects of our activities, and regularly monitor and audit our environmental performance.
  • The Company’s aim is to prevent unnecessary environmental impact and to rehabilitate any disturbed sites as near as possible to their original condition. It will follow guidelines of Government departments and statutory authorities.
